How to get an SSL certificate in Bangladesh

Use this checklist to move from website requirements to an installed certificate, with clear responsibilities at each step.

Prepare before you order

A few details make comparison and quotation review easier.

List every website name

Include the main domain, www, public service portals and required subdomains. Record them exactly; do not assume a wildcard covers deeper levels.
Compare certificate coverage

Identify the administrator

Confirm who manages hosting, DNS and any CDN or load balancer. Ask which certificate format and deployment method the platform supports.

Set purchasing requirements

For an office purchase, note the organization name, quantity, target date, quotation format and supporting documents needed.
Visit the Government Desk

From selection to an issued certificate

Use the product page and your order record for the actual options and next actions.
01

Compare and choose

Review coverage, validation, available subscription terms and the full BDT total. Check extra-name charges and agree any installation or managed-service scope.
02

Order or request an offer

Choose a published certificate through the catalogue, or submit requirements when you need a formal quotation. Review the commercial terms before committing.
03

Prepare the CSR

Your administrator generates a certificate signing request on the intended system. Submit the CSR through the order process; keep the matching private key secure.
04

Complete CA validation

Follow the certificate authority’s current instructions for proving domain control and, where applicable, organization identity. Payment does not complete those checks.

Finish the work after issuance

A delivered certificate file must still be deployed and checked.

Install on the correct endpoint

Use the instructions for your hosting panel, server or gateway, including the required intermediate chain. Identify CDN and origin requirements separately.
Plan installation

Check and record the result

Check the live hostname, served certificate, chain and expiry. Record the responsible person and replacement dates.
Plan replacement and renewal

Need an office quotation first?

Share public domain names, the specification, quantity and target date. Mention required documents and service needs. The initial request accepts text and public links; agree a channel separately for documents.
Request a quotation

Common questions

Can I request a quotation before generating a CSR?

Yes. Start with the website names and purchase requirements. A CSR is needed for the certificate request, not to describe preliminary requirements.

How long will issuance take?

Timing depends on the selected certificate, successful validation and the information available to the CA. Ask about the current requirements; no fixed issuance time is guaranteed.

Does a multi-year subscription give me one certificate for all those years?

No. The subscription period and individual certificate expiry are separate. Replacement certificates and fresh validation may be needed during the plan, and each replacement must be installed.

Where do I continue an existing SSLS order?

Sign in through My Account to view the order and records available to your account. Keep setup and support work tied to the correct order reference.
