Start with the requirement
List every website name before comparing prices. One website, several unrelated names and first-level subdomains require different coverage. Check whether the root domain and www name are included in the product you choose. If your office needs verified organization details, compare OV options instead of selecting DV on price alone.

Compare the full subscription cost
The catalogue shows approved BDT prices for the selected subscription. Compare like-for-like coverage and the full amount payable, including separately priced extra names and any agreed services. An annual equivalent helps compare plans; it is not necessarily the amount charged today.
A multi-year subscription does not mean one certificate remains valid for all those years. Plan for certificate replacement, validation and installation during the subscription. Confirm renewal pricing and service scope before committing.
When a free certificate may be enough
Let’s Encrypt offers free DV certificates. If your hosting platform supports them and your administrator can maintain renewal automation, that may meet your website’s requirement. Check who responds when deployment or renewal fails. Buying a certificate does not, by itself, make TLS encryption stronger.
A paid choice may suit an organization that needs a particular certificate product, organization validation, local purchasing documents or separately agreed support. Compare those requirements directly. Do not buy extra coverage or validation solely because a label sounds more secure.
Get a comparable quotation
Send your domain names, required validation, subscription preference and hosting platform through the quotation request. For a government purchase, use the Government Desk and include the office’s quotation format where available. Confirm the current refund conditions and installation scope before payment.

What is the cheapest SSL certificate available in Bangladesh?
Use the current catalogue and compare prices for the same coverage and subscription. The lowest eligible price can change. Check the full plan total and optional costs; SSLS does not claim a market-wide lowest-price guarantee.
Is free SSL suitable for a business website?
Free DV may be suitable when it meets the website’s coverage requirements and someone maintains deployment and renewal. It does not provide organization validation. Follow any specific procurement or identity requirements your organization has.
Does a more expensive certificate provide stronger encryption?
Price and validation labels do not determine encryption strength by themselves. Correct protocol, key and server configuration matter. OV and EV add organization identity checks; they should not be described as stronger encryption.
Is installation included in the certificate price?
Confirm the selected offer. Installation, renewal coordination and ongoing support are included only when explicitly agreed; compare these costs alongside the certificate subscription.
Can I compare only the advertised yearly price?
Compare the full term, coverage and included services first. A yearly equivalent may represent a longer upfront commitment, and installation or additional names may be separate.
