Certera Wildcard SSL covers the base domain and first-level subdomains such as shop.example.com and mail.example.com. It does not cover deeper levels or a different base domain.

Certera Flex includes three ordinary names. Add separately priced standard or wildcard SANs as needed. The combined maximum is 250 names, including the three base names. Wildcard coverage is not part of the starting price.

From payment to installation
After meeting the payment requirements, submit your names and CSR in your account or request setup help. Keep the private key on your server. Complete each required CA check, then install the certificate and chain. Track certificate expiry separately from the subscription.

Certera offers branded digital certificates and identifies itself as a Sectigo subordinate CA. The three website certificates selected here use Domain Validation and provide different coverage for exact names and subdomains.
What is the Certera SSL price in Bangladesh?

Which Certera certificate should I choose?

Does Certera Flex include a wildcard at its starting price?
No. Its base configuration includes one primary domain and two ordinary SAN names. Standard and wildcard add-ons have separate prices. Select the coverage you need before comparing the final total.
How many names can Certera Flex cover?
The base includes three ordinary names. Up to 247 additional standard and wildcard names can be configured in total, for a maximum of 250 slots. A wildcard slot covers matching first-level subdomains, not its base domain or deeper names.
Are Certera products OV or premium certificates?
The selected range uses DV. A higher coverage price is not an upgrade to organization validation or stronger encryption. For verified business identity, use a suitable OV product from the available linked ranges.
Is Certera the same as Sectigo?
Certera states that it is a Sectigo subordinate CA. The issuer relationship does not make all branded products, prices, terms or supplier mappings identical. These listings retain their Certera identity.
Does wildcard SSL cover www, the root and deeper subdomains?
The standalone Certera Wildcard offer covers its base domain and first-level subdomains, including www. A wildcard does not match deeper names. With Flex, explicitly list each required base and wildcard name and account for its slot.
How is domain control verified?
Follow the exact DNS, approved email or website-file instructions issued for your order. Wildcard names cannot use HTTP file validation; plan for DNS access. Each requested name must satisfy the CA checks.
Does a five-year subscription mean one five-year certificate?
No. Issued certificates expire before the subscription ends. Revalidation, replacement and installation are required during the plan, including one-year subscriptions. Follow the actual expiry and current CA instructions.
Do I need to send my private key?
No. Keep the private key on your server. Provide the CSR and requested names through your account after the payment requirements are met, or ask support for help generating the CSR safely.
Does buying SSL include installation and future renewals?
Ask for setup guidance. Installation, monitoring and other assistance apply only as agreed for your order. Reissue replaces a certificate during the current subscription; renewal purchases a new subscription under the then-current terms.
Can a DV certificate be used for an online shop?
DV can protect the TLS connection for covered website names. OV adds organization identity checks rather than stronger encryption. Choose based on identity and procurement requirements; a certificate alone does not secure an application or establish payment compliance.
