A CMC may suit an established business seeking an email logo when the VMC trademark route is not appropriate. The selected issuer must confirm your eligibility; an unregistered logo is not automatically eligible.
DigiCert's prior-use route requires at least 12 months of logo use on a domain you control, with evidence it can verify. Its rules also include a modified registered-mark route. Describe your situation before paying for a certificate.
What to include in your CMC enquiry
Logo history
Provide the public website where the logo is used, its approximate first-use date and any registration details. We can identify which evidence needs further review.
Sending domains and services
List the domains used in your From addresses and the platforms sending your business, order and marketing emails. Identify who manages DNS.
Required assistance
Specify certificate procurement, authentication review, compliant SVG preparation or deployment assistance. Ongoing monitoring and renewal support are separately agreed.

Confirm the available issuer route, applicant details and usable logo evidence. Review the complete quoted scope before proceeding.

Complete the required organization, domain and logo checks through the issuer's approved process. Additional evidence or identity checks may be needed.

BIMI preparation and checks
Prepare compliant logo assets, authenticated sending and the required HTTPS-hosted certificate files. Agree DNS changes and verify the result after deployment.
Common questions
Does CMC give my email a Gmail verification checkmark?
No. CMC supports the logo display route. Gmail's VMC verification checkmark requires a qualifying Verified Mark Certificate and the required setup.
Can a newly designed logo qualify immediately?
Do not assume it can. DigiCert's prior-use route requires at least 12 months of verifiable use; other qualifying routes have their own evidence requirements. The issuer decides eligibility.
How much does a CMC cost in Bangladesh?

Does an existing website SSL certificate include CMC?
No. Website SSL and email logo certificates have different purposes and validation. A CMC needs its own review and quotation.
Is CMC issuance or logo display guaranteed?
No. Issuance depends on the issuer's validation. Logo display also depends on the receiving provider and correct email authentication and BIMI configuration.
